The internationally recognised Radiant Child Yoga Programme is a fun, insightful and practical training course for all levels of experience with children and/ or yoga training. Come prepared to move your body and be young at heart!

Covering:
Guidelines for teaching yoga to children from toddlers to teens
Yoga stories, songs, and games that children love
Yoga for children with special needs
Adapting yoga within school systems
Ideas for keeping children engaged, interested and focused
Imagination, visualisation, breathwork and meditation
Group Presentations – collaborating to present a program of children’s yoga

Please find following information pertaining to the Radiant Child Yoga Programme in Cork, September 2008.

Dates and Times

Level 1 Friday 5 September 6:30 – 9:00pm.
Saturday 6 September 9:30am – 6.30pm

Level 2 Sunday 7 September 9:00am – 6.00pm (approx)

Arrival
The above times are course start times. Please arrive half an hour before course commencement on the first day of each level to facilitate registration. Please come back promptly from breaks. Break times will be advised on the first day.

Level 2 will begin with a yoga and meditation practice, followed by a half hour break for breakfast. Please refrain from drinking coffee or eating breakfast before the workshop for your own comfort. You will be able to have as much coffee and breakfast as you like during the break!

What to Bring
Notepad and pens/pencils, yoga mat & blanket or shawl, comfortable clothes
Bring any ideas and resources for class structuring/presentation in Level 2.

Meals
Lunch is not included in the price. There are restaurants, hotels, coffee shops and supermarkets within 5 minutes walk of the centre where you can have a sit down lunch or purchase take-away, or you can pack your own. Water, herbal teas and fruit are provided for morning and afternoon tea.

By Rail
The Dublin / Cork line serves Co. Cork with stations at Charleville, Mallow, Cork, Fota and Cobh. The Dublin / Tralee line serves Charleville, Mallow, Banteer, Millstreet and Rathmore. Services operate to most of the country from Cork-Kent Station, including to Kerry, Limerick, Waterford, and Wexford. Cork-Kent Station is located just off Railway Street. By Sea
The Port of Cork operates seasonal Ferry services to Roscoff. Ferries from Britain (Fishguard and Pembroke) and France (Le Havre and Cherbourg) serve Rosslare all year. All year ferries also serve Dublin Port and Dún Laoghaire from Holyhead. The driving time from Rosslare to Cork City is approximately 3 hours; Dublin is approximately 4 hours from Cork City. By Air
