A specialised class, suitable for those with previous yoga practice or a interest/curiosity to go deeper into the building blocks of Yoga: Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breath work), Mantra, meditation & into themselves!
This Asana part of the class is a mix of the postures on the first 2 levels of Iyengar Yoga exams, which includes active & restorative postures, along with mantra & pranayama/breath work practices.
I have put together this class to empower & encourage confidence in self/home practice or to help to sow the seeds for home practice when the time feels right, doing so by learning yoga postures in a safe way & with confidence.
I have 15 years of practice followed by 8 years experience of teaching & continue to learn from inspiring & experienced teachers, teachers from around the world to add some spice to what I teach & learn. I spent 2 years teaching in a healing centre in the amazon jungle where I practiced with & learnt from a plethora of knowledgable openminded teachers from around the world wherein my teaching style expanding to include movement in dance, deep enquiry work, breath work & movement practices to with release trauma from the body, especially from childhood.
I am excited to share my love of the joy & art of yoga with you in this class, from my Iyengar beginnings to an explosion of intuitive learning.
